• The word ‘bumblebee’ is a compound word (bumble + bee). The word ‘bumble’ means to hum, buzz, or drone.
• Bumblebees can fly very quickly. They can reach ground speeds of 54 kilometres per hour (km/h).
• Bumblebees are very strong! They carry up to 90 percent of their body weight in food with them to avoid starvation.
• Bumblebees can do more work and carry more pollen than other bees, including honeybees. In fact, they can do up to 50 times as much work as a normal honeybee.

When to come to NZ

  The best time to come to NZ is the middle of summer so tourists can pop manus in Lake Taupo and Otaki River, people can enjoy kayaking in the Abel Tasman, and go mountain biking in the Redwood Forest in Rotorua.

Lately, my class has been working on a story called The Black Hat and this is one of the activities and it is telling you not to do animals abuse.

music

 Music with Fran is fun right now we're doing violin.

Violins are hard to play because I have one that's a bit too big for me. We are all lined up with the violence that we're using music with Fran.

Lockdown

 During lockdown some things were the same but not everything like we got to sleep in.

Another good thing was that I could eat whenever I wanted. I didn't have to wait for the lunch bell. Things I love to do after school work to go outside and ride my motorbike off the jumps.

 I was a snug as a bug in a rug with a blanket over the top of me. when I was walking to the forest where my owner is going to let me run free with the rest of my mates. My lead rope was like a candy cane. This was the last time I would use it. I was excited to be back with my family. I was as happy as Larry to see my family again.

Olympics

 

 I was walking up onto the podium. I felt ecstatic to get my gold medal for skateboarding. I was the best skateboarder in the world in that moment. I did a Mullen Grab to Ollie Impossible, to secure the win!  two months ago when I got into the team I felt buzzed and euphoric.

Fast and Furious 9

 On Wednesday I went to the Paraparaumu theatres and watched  the new Fast and Furious 9 movie with my mum and my brother. I had a Sprite and popcorn and we sat in the middle. I want to see it again because Dom finds out that his brother didn't kill his dad and then they team up to take the bad guy down! The villain was originally Dom's brother's work partner.
